1. Warranty Terms

  • Our product carries a 6-month warranty, effective from the date of purchase.
  • This warranty covers manufacturing defects and faulty workmanship.
  • During this period, should the product be defective or fail to meet the required standard, you have the right to choose between a refund or replacement.

Conditions:

  • The item must be returned to us for inspection.
  • The warranty does not cover:
    • Damage caused by misuse or negligence.
    • Normal wear and tear.
    • Unauthorized modifications or repairs.
    • Accidental damage.

2. Cooling-Off Period (Direct Marketing Purchases)

In accordance with Section 16 of the CPA:

  • If your purchase resulted from direct marketing, you have the right to cancel the transaction within 5 business days of receiving the goods.
  • To qualify for a full refund under this cooling-off period:
    • The item must be unopened, unused, and in its original packaging.
    • The return request must be made in writing (email is acceptable).
  • The customer will be responsible for return shipping costs.

3. Non-Returnable Items

The following items are not eligible for return or refund:

  • Products marked as final sale or clearance.
  • Gift cards or vouchers.
  • Customized or personalized products.

4. How to Initiate a Return or Warranty Claim

  1. Contact us via email at info@trappie.co.za with your order number and a description of the issue.
  2. We will provide instructions for returning the product, including the return shipping address.
  3. Ensure that the item is securely packaged to avoid damage during transit.
  4. Upon receipt, we will inspect the item and notify you of the outcome.

5. Refund Processing

  • Approved refunds will be processed within 10 business days of receiving the returned item.
  • Refunds will be made via the original payment method.
  • Please allow additional time for the funds to reflect in your account, depending on your bank or payment provider.
